In addition to these, however, I also made a documentary film of Dannion that is the next best thing to being there. It is called "The Life and Times of Dannion Brinkley," and it is a tour of Dannion's life. We retell the story and then visit him at home in Aiken, SC, show him working with hospice patients, "sit on the porch" with him as he takes the viewer through his unique world view, meet his family, and go on the road with him.

Dannion accurately predicts (or sees) the spiritual decay of America. This is not something new but I would predict in these times that we will see much more violence due to the lack of spiritual fiber, and the all pervasive influence of greed-growth-capitalistic morals. This is not to say that we are socialists, but to say that capitalism cares nothing about people. Giving to recieve nothing doesn't fit the capitalistic creed, but does fit a spiritual creed (tithing, helping others less fortunate, etc.). Because money has become the new God everyone is forgetting their spiritual roots. That we all come from the source, and we all eventually will have to give back to the source or not do so at our own peril - personally, societally, or as a species. The main problem that Dannion forsees is the destruction of what I would call community of any form. Family is the strongest community unit and as that unit disintegrates everything that 'roots' us to the ground spiritually, emotionally, physically is lost. Everything in society from local politics, police, all of our "safety" and protection systems are driving many people to insanity - and violence. This is all a sign of society in decay. Economically we might be all wonderful, but emotionally & spiritually we are like rotten husks. Fortunately there are many light workers in this country, but we are finding it difficult to fight "the system" and are simply working in our own ways to foster change, to give spiritual eduation, and show people that 'someone does care'.

Interesing how Israel and the Arab states are the focus of these visions. Jordan still exists so I'm not sure what his visions pertained to. Perhaps some changes have occured since then that caused some of the visions to be put off slightly or be altered.. What is interesting though is the feeling that the Jews or Israelies are also "spiritually hollow". It was this year during the celebration of the 50 years of Israel that a movie was put out that showed how the palestinians paid for the creation of the Israelie state. Many Jews reacted negatively to seeing such things. The producer (or was that director) said that everything he showed was true and that Jews should realize what was done to the palestinians to create the Israelie state. I saw the images it very much was war, and the palestinians really got beaten and enslaved.. Where were the human rights advocates when the wars for Israel began.. Somehow I have to think the Americans helped.. No wonder the Arabs hate the Americans.. But this is an ancient religious battle, and ancient hatred. How long must Arab kill Jew, and Jew kill Arab, or Muslum & Christians kill each other before they learn to live in peace? I also find it interesting that Dannion talks about chemical & biological weapons & oil & the asian economy. It is only this year that we see the asian ecomony taking a hit.. But currently oil prices are extremely low compared to the late 70's and early 80's in inflated dollars.

The nuclear incidents Dannion relates both came true. Also the current state of the Soviet Union/Russia in terms of it's economy and the Mafia. It is difficult to see who this new leader on the white horse will be. There are some upcoming elections so perhaps it will become clear. The Russians are more concerned with their economy than ecology at this point (from an American perspective) but there is slowly a world awakening in terms of taking care of planet Earth. Will this come to be a religious fervor.. I can say from a personal perspective I can see that it could. But that I am always aware of anything becoming religious - i.e. something you just want to have/believe rather than test as a truth. Perhaps Global warming or the climate moving to a new climate state would encourage this movement.

Prophetic visions of the energy grids and centers on the world and the environmental destruction occuring from many human endeavors..

Boxes 8-9

Prophetic vision of Russia & China at war.. This would be terrible but it wouldn't be suprising as I can easily see China deciding that it's neighbor Russia is weak and would try to expand territory. Why a railroad to fight over I'm not sure. Probably because they'd need it for transport/logistics to be able to take the extra territory (for food & population expansion). That it would be awfully bloody would be certian as the Russians would put up a good fight once provoked. Support would come from many countries to fight China. And China with around 1billion could loose many more soldiers than any other nation.

Boxes 10-11

More visions relating to oil and lack thereof. This hasn't happened yet so I suspect that the time frames are not quite accurate yet on some things. I can see this farther out, but it is possible that after the longest peacetime expansion that our markets might undergo collapse quicker. The government would act swiftly. I've been feeling this set up for some time. Since the spiritual & emotional health of the people is failing quickly it will be a short time before the economy suffers also. I can see the first trama's happening withing the next 2 years, most certianly before 2007 with major collapse on or before 2012 when all the baby boomers start withdrawing their money from the markets to retire on. There will be very few caregivers, and prices will skyrocket since the social disintegration will leave everyone to fend for themselves vs. what really happened - children taking care of parents. Seems like a balancing mechanism for rearing children.. Something that everyone wants to avoid.. Also we are about to see Europe unifying their currency - is it 13 nations in the EEC? Interesting the mix of the flood of the Mississippi, Earth quakes in the west (a possible reason I've been avoiding that area - maybe I should listen to my inner intuition on this - I can only hope all the light workers going there are able to survive the coming catastrophies). The dates on the overthrow of the Egyptian government are wrong. Thing is though it seems that the prophicies are accurate just the time frames are not or the time frames have shifted for various reasons (divine intervention to give us more time, or the results of many prayers and affirmations by many people). It is hard to say.

Box 12

Prophecy of a computer chip that has biological components. This is still a ways off into the future. They are being worked on and progress made but I don't know if the implanted chip will actually fly. What is the alternative is a chip in a credit card that would be activated by thumb print, or other method. What Dannion is talking about here is still a ways off. But fits in to the 2010 time frame when many of the other prophecies could occur.

Box 13

This is another interesting vision. For already because of fear and safety we Americans are giving up many of our freedoms. I feel in many other countries this is occuring also. We have passed the 1994-1996 time frame and I feel that we are moving toward conflict vs. resolution. I only hope that we have just enough time by the grace of god for a positive message and positive action to take place so that people will wake up and a new peaceful revolution can take place. It will be close, almost too close for comfort, but perhaps with enough people speaking with open hearts the truth of God for all to hear whilst listening and healing all the ills of many people that we might just make it through this transition. It is clear as we live now dominated by capitalistic ideas that we are falling spiritually and many people are becoming insane as they are becoming detached from their 'roots' and grounding systems which are rooted in compassion and love. I find it interesting that one of my main focusses is to be able to grow a modicum of food inside my house and have a bountiful yard that one in principle could live off of. Thing is though in the city it could be tough to deal with other starving people who have nothing in their yards.. Sigh. See the later article on the creation of DNA for data storage for computers!! I'll have to track down a reference for this.
