RjR - Well it's been a crazy past few weeks. I guess I've been sulking to much over my X-girlfriend moving on to new pastures. It's like the wind got let out of my sails. Also everyone - I mean everyone seems to be going crazy here in Michigan. Some say it's the moon in Aries. I just wish that people were able to find more loving words for others rather than criticisms. My resolution is if all I have to say is a criticism to one person about another - then I'm just going to remain silent - or think of something positive to say about them. It's been a rough time for me. If there is any cuddly sweet woman out there who likes homey things, gardening, quiet walks, computers, and a generally kind open, honest, loving, committed, sexy guy who's not ashamed to show his feminine side, and crys during heart warming movies - drop me some e-mail..

Well enough for the girlfriend sob story. Live goes on - and it's time to fill it with friends who desire positive growing, and supportive relationships.

  1. I got some time to work on the new ChannelU logo. It's not exactly what I want but better than a broken image.
  2. Added a New Article relating to a question that CNBC posed during it's Power Lunch. Namely Why does one Trade Center Tower appear larger than the Other. I had my camera handy and figured I'd put up a page. Heck that's what the web is for right. Whether they use it or not is up to them. You can take a look though.
  3. I've been working on a new AntCam interface. It's not nearly done but I hope to get back to it soon. Colony 2 hasn't been doing too much. As it get's colder the ants get less active. I'm not sure what I'll do about this since many of the images don't show too much. Also the size of the jar is too small for them. It is clear they are aware of this and are not doing a whole heck of a lot. I also took the Canon L1 off line and put back the Indy Cam so I could use the L1 for other things. Colony 1 is much more interesting. If you want a preliminary look at the new AntCam interface (nothing works BTW) you can take a look at it in it's preliminary stage here. I have a lot of other goodies that will be added here when I get around to it.
  4. Added links to various FAQs in the NeXT pages. I'm not sure when I'll get around to working on these since I have a new project that will be going on line soon.
  5. The New Project - Current secret until I get the preliminary work done. Don't worry you'll see it soon. I'm going to focus on this New Project until it get's off the ground. I hope I can arrange some time to finish the new AntCam interface and pages. Whether I'll get to doing all the NeXT stuff I want it's hard to say. The NeXT stuff though paying a little money isn't going to generate enough interest or $$ to justify all the work I wanted to put into it. It's a hobby and I have to get the $$ rolling in before I can justify these hobbies. I'm very sad about this.

98.08.13.2009

RjR - Well it's been an interesting month. I can't say I've been terribly productive. Mostly a time of introspection to determine what the hell is next in my life - in all respects. Bits of news Don Yacktman posted "A Modest Proposal" advocating Apple release the BSD/Mach and DriverKit as open-source projects.
  1. I had been advocating similiar moves for so long I was kind suprised to see this come out. I hoped to quickly write an article that would advocate YB being tossed into the OpenMach but put that on hold and simply wrote "Is the Future Closed or Open?! article encouraging Apple to accept the OpenMach proposal and which has some of my analysis of Apple's current position is and what they should do to solve their problems.
  2. Added a Articles section. I probably will merge it with the Serious section at some point. Right now I want to get back to NeXT stuff, and working on improving the AntCam pages.
  3. The AntCam got posted as "Things to do on a Sunday Afternoon" to Slashdot.org on 1998.08.09.1136 which created a huge number of hits for the AntCam. I was pleasantly suprised. I hope people enjoyed it. I can see now that I really should give some attention to those pages and the Ant Logs.
  4. I'm got my 18G Seagate ST118273N! The drive is quiet, FAST and not too hot in the Indigo2. Cost $800 shipped. I expect that I will be able to have at least 200 days of Ant Images there. Somehow I want to get it up to 5 years so to have a whole colony's life on line.

98.07.19.0200

RjR - Still havn't had much time to work on stuff. I have noticed that we should be able to htmlify the NeXT System Administration and User Docs much easier since they are on line as rtf & rtfd.
  1. I've posted a N3000 NeXT Optical Drive Pages with some images of the NeXT Optical Drive, Disks and Filters along with a preliminary Troubleshooting Guide. Eventually I will post a Step-By-Step Cleaning Guide along with a complete Troubleshooting Guide.
  2. Adam Baker is still working on the new ChannelU look - which others have expressed interest in tweaking. A lot of information will have to be put up before the new ChannelU pages which Adam is working on go up.
  3. I'm still waiting for my 18G Seagate ST118273N Sigh. I wish people who post stuff for sale would really have it.
  4. I also took a lot of images of other thingss that I have to make web pages of. Namely Cables, Laser Printer stuff, Optical Carts (3M, BASF), and a lot of other things. Time to make web pages, and a Picture guide of NeXT Hardware. I'm going to try to make sure at least one set of pages go up once per week. :) That way stuff will certianly get done.
  5. Oh Matt Sharp has Chapter 11 done of the NeXT System Administration Guide - I should probably just stick it up but since I realized that the manuals are online in rtf I decided to check what kind of job Create & LatinByrd III does with them. Special Thanks to Stefan Schneider for the two month key to try it out. So far neither solution seems to be satisfactory.. Though the fact that LatinByrd III does the whole directory tree makes it nearly the best single click solution to rtf - html generation - It still needs some help though.

98.07.11.0037

RjR - Not much has been happening on the web site. Though a lot has been happening with Apple!! It seems Apple has firmly decided to abandon MacOS X Server for PC compatibles. Oh did I say that Apple did at least take my suggestion to heart (though someone else may have made it) - Do a Power Search Dejanews for "MacOS X Server" and see who pops out on 98.06.20. Though I posted it earlier 98.06.11 on the Rhaptel maillist
  1. I've posted the N1191 Quick Setup Guide - for folks who need to know the basics on how to setup a NeXT computer.
  2. At least one person Adam Baker has stepped forward to help work on revamping the site - adding Logo's etc. In exchange for a complete 8/500 25Mhz Monostation + Laser Printer delivered to his door in Toronto. I'm hoping that things will come together in the next few months.. Logos etc.
  3. I've also ordered a 18G Seagate ST118273N for my Indigo2 which I calculate will give the The AntCam at least 1 year of history given the current 1 JPEG/minute setup. Some more work needs to be done to make the The AntCam more efficient for downloads on 14.4 modems - but that will come later. I am also considering only saving 1 JPEG/5 minutes or 10/hr over long periods of time so as to have a complete colony history on line.

98.06.21.0053

RjR - Ok many updates. What I've done is to modify all the META Tags to follow the Excite search specification. I also made the NeXT Hardware Pages Black - as they should be.
Further news:
  1. I've finally installed a Excite Search engine indexed for the whole channelu.com tree. Right now it's simply the default Excite search page. Maybe someday I'll modify it but for now I simply thought folks would like a way to search this site to find what they want.
  2. I've also added wwwcount2.4 which is currently maintained by Muhammad A Muquit. One feature I'm considering adding is making the incr=0,1 (Boolean) to a integer value that will allow for ignoring the IP test, and the IP filter. Mostly we should be able to make a counter increment just by setting incr= to some value. Also there was a bug in the examples that Ken Case at Omni pointed out. And that is relating to the use of ampersands in CGI code. Good practice is to use
      (ampersand)amp; rather than just &
and this fixed my OmniWeb 2.7b3 problems with the counter. My apologies to anyone with OW2.7b3 that happend to hit the pages. Also I am going to stick with not letting the counter update on reloads - I think inflating counter hits by this method to make ones site appear more travelled that it really is.. Well I guess that's up to other folks. I am tempted to do the same since it is nice to have a counter that keeps track of the actual number of httpd requests for a page were served. I may put a second counter side by side with the current ones to measure this traffic. I still have to think about this.
  3. What else? Well I'm auctioning off a Challenge L, Dual R10K - and added a web page - along with a way to use the mailform to send bids to us.
  4. Other additions. Well I may have a few people working on these pages and site layout/logos since I'm going to trade some of the 25Mhz Mono Stations for graphics work. More on these folks will be forthcoming.

98.06.09.0324

RjR - Some updates and additions.
  1. The AntCam has been updated to v1.1. I fixed the incrementer/decrementer so that is just works! I also changed everything so that we're now using 640x480 jpg's which are about 50-60K I have to work on this since it has more than doubled the storage requirements for a days worth of jpgs, and increased download time significantly. Something for v1.2. I also reworked the lighting and the camera settings to something a little better.
  2. I've added another brochure. It is one dealing with the NeXTcube Turbo. This was finished with Create5.0 in about 6 hours (after some kernel panics which I think are RAM related) then tweaked by hand for an hour or two.

98.06.05.0028

RjR - Ok. I'm starting to reorganize a bit. Links are getting moved around. Most of the work is going on in the NeXT History area.
  1. The AntCam v1.0 is working quite well and not hogging up too much disk. I love the fact that I can watch my ants even when I'm not at home. I purchased and fed them two crickets today for celebration - also to keep them happy so they don't continue to try to tunnel out into the real world.
  2. The Black Hardware Pages have been updated a bit. Mostly to de-link stuff so people don't get too discouraged looking for stuff there. I'm sorry but I can only work so fast.
  3. I have received another donation :) Yeah. And am getting a lot of orders for the N2000 Laser Printer parts. I just want to let everyone one know who ordered that I really appreciate it. I have received a lot of comments on the pages that I have to implement - but I think the first order of business is to clean everything up a bit - at least get a ChannelU logo - even if it's cheezy. Then I want to get the stuff set up in the Black hardware Pages. Maybe I should make them Black with white text? :) But really I just want to get some images and info in there. Hopefully soon (that's all I can say!
  4. At least one person has come out of the internet to lend a hand - his name is Matt Sharp - I will probably add him to the friends of ChannelU page - or a temporary Staffer if he lets me. He's working on .htmlifying Chapter 11 of the System Administration Guide with all the ROM commands so people don't have to ask "How do I get into the ROM monitor" or what is the command to boot off floppy? At least if they have a web browser.
  5. I've added the first of a couple of brochures. It is one dealing with the NeXTStation Color and NeXTStation Color Turbo. This was created with Create5.0 in about two days then tweaked by hand for a few hours. I've sent some bug comments and feature requests off to Andrew Stone. From what I've seen and showing my friends/clients that have used various other tools (Front Page, Media - something, etc.) Everyone's jaw dropped when I showed them Drag-n-Drop web page generation. I hope to make this site something of a display case for the fact that Create will probably make me 4x more productive on what I'm doing (htmlification of old NeXT Docs, Mags, etc.). If they incorporate features I need it will be much better. There is nothing like htmlifying what you can see on paper to ferret out bugs and find features we all would desire. I suspect between my bug reports and feature requests/UI changes and Stone Design's coding we're going to have a killer app. A hear-hear to Andrew Stone and Stone Design.

98.06.03.1430

RjR - I'm still waiting for my Canon L1 to get back from the shop (Sigh). Spectrum Electronics in Lansing, Michigan so far stinks - they said 1.5 weeks and were going on the 4th now.
  1. The AntCam V1.0 is ONLINE the images arn't the best but hey it works. I'm not going to explain the details here. Just go and check it out.

98.05.20.2326

RjR - Well I'm finally getting a second to work on the ChannelU pages again. I grabbed a spare 500M HD and dropped NT on it. At least I can use my Astra 600S scanner again.
  1. Where to get NeXTStep/OpenStep/Rhapsody hardware has been updated because I noticed deepspace has been modifying their pages. I've updated the table entries and links. They still have to add stuff to the Software section. I've also noticed that they will be converting to PDF the NeXT Laser Printer Repair Manual from Canon (if they get permission). Also they already have created a PDF (though it didn't look right under OmniPDF v1.7 or v2.1.3 from Omni Group) of NeXT Color Printer Tips and Tricks - 264KB. I am contacting the author - Glenn Parsons to obtain permission to .htmlify it for all the folks that like to just look via web.
  2. Over the past few weeks Apple has announced MacOS X and many other things.
    1. Yellow Box will be supported on 95/98/NT4/NT5
    2. Yellow Box is Apple's core technology for the future
    3. Carbon - 431KB PDF document is the new addition to bring MacOS developers back into the fold
    4. Finally the bad news is that Steve Jobs has indicated to Scott Anguish after WWDC 98 that Rhapsody 1.0 would be the last version period (PPC and Intel), also there is no indication MacOS X will be ported to Intel (even minus Bluebox, and Carbon). Interestingly you won't find anything on the above site to confirm this (The site has been changed!) - which means to me that Apple is open to suggestions. Folks who are looking for information on how to urge Apple to support Rhapsody on Intel can look here for a beginning of the effort Pat Taylor is putting together. I of course will be helping. See comp.sys.next.advocacy or comp.sys.mac.advocacy for a thread titled DEBATE:
  3. I've also started working on .htmlifying the NeXT Color Printer Manual N5015.00. It isn't finished by far but at least it's a start. I hope to fix the images up a bit with TIFFany3 from Caffeine Software. I can't wait to try it out.
  4. The Wish List has been updated.

98.05.11.0114

RjR - Well I saw the announcement of Create5.0 which runs on Rhapsody, Openstep for Mach, Openstep for NT and Windows (i.e. Enterprise/Yellow Box) and decided to see if their web page generator would 'cut the cheese'. It still has some vertical alignment bugs AFAIK, but in general it should work well. A 2G Seagate ST12250N with DOS/95/NT decided to crap out on me yesterday so now my Astra 600s isn't giving me images, nor my Matrox Rainbow Runner (unless I hook it back up to the ND or the SGI which will come soon - See Ant Cam). Even so I'm rather excited that between ScanOMatic, and Create I may now have the tools under Openstep 4.x (or Rhapsody) to really get going on my .htmlification of old NeXT documents etc.
  1. Ant Cam will be going up soon. I put up an initial page with images I took of my colony last year with my Canon L1. I can't wait to get my L1 fixed so the Ant Cam will have good quality. I may talk a friend Brett Dreyfus to let me borrow his Hi-8 to try to take some good images. I don't think his camera will have the zoom capabilities the L1 has. To get the Ant Cam up and running I have to either purchase or clear off some disk space on i.channelu.com. I already have many of the scripts set up for the web server which will take the individual images, and create the mpegs. I will at some point htmlifiy the Journal entries relating to my current colony of Carpenter Ants - I'll probably also make up some other products relating to colonies so people can purchase what they need to get a working ant farm. I hate the cheap cheezy ant farms that arn't solidly built!
  2. The Wish List has been updated. Mostly fixing the old form which was hard to add entries and to add some stuff that I'd like to have. I really want to add thanks to IPC for their efforts with ScanOmatic and support for the Astra 600S and Stone Design for Create which I will be using to create more of my web pages with. I probably should dedicate some pages to these apps with some online commentary since I have installed/used these apps. Also a hearty thanks to Omni Group for OmniWeb 3.0 it is coming along nicely.. I hope we can get a global search and replace function :)
  3. I've put off the updating thePerformance Pages since Phillipe C.D. Robert has told me Uptime Inc. will be setting up a WebObjects Application to collect and present the data via the web. I will eventually get around to adding information relating to performance issues and links to the software to do performance testing but the priority has shifted on this until something else happens or more than a few months pass. I know this is important but I have many other things to work on and I don't want to create the forms and the engine to do the WebObjects work (since I don't have a license to deploy WebObjects) if someone else is going to do it.

98.05.02.0314

RjR - Still havn't ok'd the final announcement of the NeXT Laser Printer Compendium. I'm working on a few other things. Still pretty raw but they are there.
  1. Stupid World web pages are put up. Eventually I'll be adding other stupid world stuff as time and energy permits. Hopefully there will be some funny stuff there too!
  2. Serious web pages are up also. The first thing I've included is some links and commentary on Dannion Brinkley. His books are a must read AFAIC.

98.04.18.0311

RjR - Turns out Scott Anguish hasn't announced the NeXT Laser Printer Repair web pages yet. So I'm adding a few things. I've spent at least 9-12 hours working on what's logged below. I'm tired and going to bed. Tomorrow perhaps I make it a outside day - mowing lawn, weeding strawberries, etc. Yaaaawwwwwnnnnnn. I hope people appreciate this stuff someday.
  1. Turbo Software web pages are put up. Eventually I'll be adding other products as time and energy permits.
  2. Also under Turbo Software the info page for the Roller, Gear, Ozone Replacements
  3. Also if anyone is interested I've put up some pages for what companies are servicing the NeXTStep/Openstep/Rhapsody community. The chart is organized so that for each company one can easily see if they sell Used or New hardware, Parts, Peripherials, Software (OS, Driver, General), and whether they offer Services/Consulting. If anyone has any other companies or corrections please let me know. Feedback is also appreciated
  4. I also modified the ChannelU Home Page so folks won't get annoyed at the dead links. I should do this in other places also. Perhaps later.
I added new links in the solicitation at the bottom to the Roller, Gear, Ozone Replacements pages from the following pages.
  1. The links to the step-by-step instructions now point to the individual Roller & Gear Replacement pages from the Remove Cover Page
  2. Feed Roller Replacement Page
  3. Expeller Gear Replacement Page

98.04.17.1601

RjR - A little bit of work last night and today on the Staff page. Mostly cleaning up some of the dirty .html as shown by OW3.0b5. But I also included some links to things in my bio, and a picture of Jillian. Perhaps it will encourge her to put up some of her poetry, or to learn .html.. This is again a reason for a WYSIWIG .html editor for NeXTStep/Openstep/Rhapsopdy. Coding by hand for mortals is a pain and extremely time consuming to make well formatted pages

98.04.14.0512

RjR - Continuing work on the Laser Printer Repair pages. I installed OW3.0b5 and found some interesting changes that affected my layout designs using tables so I had to modify some of the Laser Printer Repair pages to accomodate OW3.0b5 changes. I've been working until from afternoon to 5-7am on much of these pages. I have to take a break on today to get the darn taxes out the door. And later in the week two rocking PII 333's with Abit LX6 MB's, 512MB SDRAM, 9G UW, Adaptec 2940's will be arriving on my door to be prepared for a local client. I can't wait to try Rhapsody/Openstep on them and to get some performance data. This will take me away from updating the pages for a week or so (17th-24th). I've listed below some of the stuff I've moved into place. It's all quite raw but will get better after I get these client machines out of the way. Things on the high priority list are to install a search engine (probably Excite) to get the Performance pages/forms going - and announced
  1. N2000 NeXT Laser Printer Web Pages should be announced today on comp.sys.next.announce. I hope people find them useful. I still have to do some updates based on feedback given to me by a number of people.
  2. The top of the N2000 NeXT Laser Printer Pages has been moved to a new location
  3. Finally I've put up the 1.0 draft of the N2000 Laser Printer Expeller Gear Replacement Pages
  4. I still need to do some tuning of many of the pages so that everything looks good under Netscape4.x, IE4, and OmniWeb (2.x, 3.x) If anyone notices any problems they can contact me
I've incorporated some preliminary work on some new pages and a bit of reorganization
  1. NeXT History pages have been modified mostly more place holders incorporated
  2. NeXT Products has been added. This will probably change a lot more as I add more stuff but tentatively it is a list of mostly documentation at this point. Eventually much of the docs will end up in a more appropriate location ../NeXT/History/NeXTPub
  3. Educational Price List Nov. 1989 very raw and no images yet. Just stuffed it in there since I had started work on it and wanted to collect all my work in one place - online :)
  4. Places to buy NeXTStep/Openstep/Rhapsopdy hardware. Also very raw
  5. Performance pages Also extremely raw - mostly placeholders. I will be getting to these pages soon since I personally want to start collecting performance results for all the different hardware/drivers/OS versions out there. This is high priority now.
  6. This will become a place to look for software for NeXTStep/Openstep/Rhapsopdy Also extremely raw not quite right yet since it's under /NeXT/Black/Software (should be all software for black)!!

98.04.11.1502

RjR - I have been adding and working on various pages for the past couple of months. I am continually tweaking and editing them to make them more suitable for display on various browsers. So far the work has primarily been done with OmniWeb 2.7b3. With final tests done with OmniWeb3.0b4 all under Openstep 4.2 on Intel. .
  1. I have put up a set of pages dealing with the NeXT Laser Printer. Within these pages there is the Trouble Shooting Guide to help folks deal with various problems with their NeXT Laser Printer (NLP). I have also done the first version of the step-by-step disassembly instructions relating Cover Removal and Feed Roller Replacement. I have to update these pages based on feedback from the following supporters (my thanks goes out to them for supporting me by buying gears, rollers, etc. from me) James Campana from Anderson Financial Systems (sorry don't see a URL for afs.com), Scott Hess, Ken Worthy, Jeremy Bettis, and a special thanks to Don Gray (He actually added a $5 donation because "The Web Page was extremely helpful in fixing my laser printer, Thanks!") Jim Campana also pointed out a simpler way to remove the Feed Roller in Step 9 of the Feed Roller Replacement pages, and a possible problem that can arise. Namely that there are two possible ways to replace the Roller - 1 of which will give problems the other which is correct. Adding feedback from Jim and others is on the to do list along with the Gear Replacement guide. Other additions dealing with streaking, printer noise, and other problems will be added as I have time.
  2. The next task was to make editing and changing the pages easier. I won't say how I did this but it should save a significant amount of time moving things around.. :)
  3. I have .htmlified the N6030 NeXT Brochure which was distributed by NeXT after the Stations and the NeXT Dimension were introduced in 1990. Clearly anyone that has a NeXTDimension will know that some of the statements on Page 4 are inaccurate relating to real-time compression of live video. To all ND owners chagrin.

I have worked very hard on these pages and for all intensive purposes will be finishing up most of the .html code tweaks soon. Hopefully all the work that went into these pages will show. Interestingly my mom asked me to print these pages for her to see. I noticed that for some reason the size of the page that one sees in preview is rather smaller than what appears on the screen.. I'm not sure I understand what is happening here but since I intend these .html pages to be a representation of what is on paper it would be very nice if at least on NeXTStep/Openstep/Rhapsopdy that they'd print properly.. A lagging problem since I'm a prefectionist :) This was the first brochure that got me excited about the NeXTDimension. One may notice the trademark TM and the Registered trademark ® symbols on page 7 are not superscripted. This is because it would wreak havoc with the look of the page. On all the other pages there wern't enough of them to dramatically affect the formatting.. I may rework these pages at some point in the future but for now they will remain as they are. Well it was a bit hairy! I finally completed the N6030 pages and checked them under NT4.0svp3, IE2, Win95 IE4, Netscape 4.0, and OW3.0b4 and OW2.7b3 on Openstep 4.2 for Intel. There are definately some problems with the trademark & registered trademark symbols (or my attempt at them). For some reason IE absolutely didn't want to respect my table width declarations. If your interested you can check out the bad version of page 6 the only thing removed is one image in the first column. Why IE screws up? Isn't this what one expects from microsoft?! Extremely annoying. There also seems to be an issue about the extra lines at the end of table returns in tables. Check out what Netscape does on my pages and compare to OW3.0.. It's minor and I've opted to try to make the pages look the best under OmniWeb vs. IE or Netscape. It seems fitting IMHO.

98.02.10.2350

RjR - Return to work on Channel U Web Pages.. I have finally purchased an Astra 600S which will finally allow me to finish some of these pages as I liked. Also I've installed OmniWeb3.0b4 which seems to correct some of the problems I had with 3.0b2. Yeah! and our hearty thanks to Omnigroup folks.
  1. Updating everything from the top down and examining with OmniWeb3.0b4 & OmniWeb2.7b3.
  2. Updating ../index.html Mostly just fixing valign=top and reworking the tables to get the structure I want.
  3. Updating ../WishesDoComeTrue/index.html Again fixing valign=top
  4. Mission.html Fixed the header
  5. ../NeXT/index.html Had to completely rework this page so OmniWeb3.0 would display it properly. There are still some problems with the editor finding the ending tags
  6. ../NeXT/Black/index.html Again almost all the formatting needed to be redone. Also added a link to a Pyro Page
  7. ../NeXT/History/NeXTPub/1M4710.1.92/index.html Basically put valign=top in the text section to put the Catalog title in right place.
  8. ../NeXT/History/NeXTPub/1M4710.1.92/Winter92_1.html valigns, along with table widths & hr's defined in absolute pixels rather than percentages. This is better anyway for these pages. OmniWeb3.0b4 has problems with tables :|
  9. ..//NeXT/History/NeXTPub/1M4710.1.92/Winter92_2.html valigns, along with table widths & hr's defined in absolute pixels rather than percentages. Same as above.
  10. ../NeXT/History/NeXTPub/1M4710.1.92/Winter92_3.html valigns, along with table widths & hr's defined in absolute pixels rather than percentages. Same as above.
  11. ../NeXT/History/NeXTPub/1M4710.1.92/Winter92_4.html valigns, along with table widths & hr's defined in absolute pixels rather than percentages. Same as above.
  12. ../NeXT/History/NeXTPub/1M4710.1.92/Winter92_5.html valigns, along with table widths & hr's defined in absolute pixels rather than percentages. Same as above.
  13. ../NeXT/History/NeXTPub/1M4710.1.92/Winter92_6.html This is a new page. Taking quite a long time per page to create this stuff.. I wish I could just scan in documents and have them turned into .html
  14. ../NeXT/Black/Software/index.html This is a new page. This should have everything that has to do with software for black

97.10.27.1642

RjR - Due to the freak October winter storm we received about 3-5 inches of snow here in Lansing, Michigan which happened to take out our T1 and inspired the Return to work on Channel U Web Pages after a long delay.. The main issue was to rework the webpages so that Omniweb3 and Omniweb2 display the same thing. It turns out Omniweb2 was much more forgiving than Omniweb3. And AFAIK Omniweb3 seems to have a bug that relates to nested tables with the topmost table definition having a align="left".
